I placed mine near the front porch where it gets plenty of sunlight. It charges during the day and comes on automatically after dark. I haven’t had to do anything since setting it up.

We had some rain shortly after I put this outside and it handled it perfectly. Everything still works and the colors look great. Really happy that it’s actually made for outdoor decorating.

The cauldron is definitely the best part. The purple and warm glow makes it look like the witch is actually brewing something. My neighbors have already complimented it several times.
